Artur Dewata Batubara has more than 20 years of progressively responsible experience directing property developers and real estate companies in Indonesia. Artur has led these companies through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth modes. Artur has experienced running a variety of real estate industries, including real estate brokerage, residential estate development, hospitality and tourism, as well as industrial estate. He is now the Director/CEO of MandiriLand, a private real estate investment company. Artur manages its diverse real estate project portfolio, including industrial estates, residential estates, resorts and hotels. Artur has a vast network among real estate and business players in Indonesia, and actively serves as Vice Chairman on Real Estate Indonesia (REI) and Head of Permanent Committee at Indonesia National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Bill Jones

Bill is a Fellow of RICS and has been working in the property industry full time for 30 years. He holds a BSc in Urban Estate Management from LJMU (Liverpool John Moores University) and an MA in Management from the LJMU Business School. He is also a member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers (SISV). He became a chartered surveyor (MRICS) in 1986 whilst working for Sutcliffe & Co. in the UK as a valuer, commercial agent and property manager. After a variety of management roles in the public and private sector, Bill joined Royal Dutch Shell in 2002 and held a variety of positions in FM, corporate real estate and in the Shell Retail business. Whilst with Shell, he was based in Singapore and worked on a number of real estate projects for the company across the Asia Pacific region.

In 2011 Bill was with CBRE as Process Improvement Lead on the Shell EMEA account. Bill joined RICS three years ago and is now the MD for the ASEAN World Region. He is responsible for delivering the ASEAN business plan supported by local member boards/committees, and is actively promoting adoption of RICS standards and qualifications across ASEAN. He also promotes the RICS brand, forging relationships with employers, governments and end-users of surveying services across ASEAN countries.

Mr Alvin Cheng joined the Manager on 1 October 2010 as the Chief Financial Officer, with more than 20 years of working experience in the banking and transportation industries, as well as executive management experience in the Business Trust and the REIT sector.

Since joining the company, Mr Cheng has been a key contributor to the implementation of the recalibration and transformational plan of LMIR Trust, and was appointed CEO and Executive Director on 27 April 2013.

Mr Cheng spent most of his career in the area of corporate finance/advisory, has held several senior positions with international institutions and companies in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore. Prior to joining the Manager, he was the Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director of the PST Management Ltd (as trustee-manager of Pacific Shipping Trust) from 2008-2009.

Since 2010, Member of the Stock Exchange Listing Committee of Indonesia from 2008 to 2011, also the President Director of PT Pefindo from 2007 to 2010, Chief Economist and Senior Vice President at CIMB-GK Securities from 2006 to 2007, Chief Economist and Executive Vice President from 2005 to 2006 and Head of Fixed Income and Economic Research from 2003 to 2005 at Mandiri Sekuritas.

He also has been a Member of the Technical Assistance Team of the Fiscal Policy Office, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia since 2011 and has been a Lecturer in the Faculty of Economics at Universitas Indonesia since 1992.

He has also been a Member of the Working Group in Government Bond Market Development for the Surabaya Stock Exchange from 2002 to 2003 along with his work as an Economist and Fixed Income Analyst at Nusantara Capital Jakarta from 2002 to 2003. Ade Putra Rusly is the Chairman of the Jakarta Institute of Real Estate and Urban Development and the CEO of PT Duta Rapira Consulting, a Jakarta-based real estate strategic consulting firm. He is also a member of Real Estate Council at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) since September 2008.

He is responsible for setting up property development, management, and investment projects; developing strategic partnerships; and conducting various real estate and urban development strategic studies. One of the recent projects he is involved in is a 900 Ha sustainable township development in West Java, Indonesia.

He has 20 years of hands-on experience and expertise in marketing and business development; online marketing; land acquisition; urban and master planning; and Real Estate development and management, of various residential (high rise, housing estates and township), commercial, retail, hospitality, and mixed-used projects.

An Architect as well as Property Specialist, Mr. Rusly started his career at Shimizu Corporation (Jakarta Design Studio) as a Designer before joining Real Estate and Real Estate related EPC industries. He then joined and held senior marketing and operations positions at Jaya Property Group, one of the largest property development groups in Indonesia.

Salgado has more than 12 years of international experience in hotel development, investments and asset management, across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia. He began his career in Europe at the Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Turkey and gained experience in M&A work with one of the world’s largest tourist holdings. He then deepened his hospitality experience at Barceló Hotels & Resorts, taking charge of its hotel investments and asset management portfolio in Europe and South America. In 2008, he was promoted to Vice President of Development and Asset Management of NH Hotels.

After five years of being responsible for hotel transactions in top destinations in Europe and US, Javier joined Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels’ as the Vice President of Strategic Advisory in Indonesia, before joining PT Carlson Panorama Hospitality.
