Arsh Chaudhry, based in Singapore since 2006, is responsible for the overall management and development of Cushman & Wakefield's business across South-East Asia. Under his leadership, C&W have expanded significantly across the region by way of business acquisitions, team acquisitions and organic growth.

Mr. Chaudhry previously lived and worked in New York, San Francisco, New Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai. He is a member of C&W's Asia Pacific Board and the Executive Leadership Forum.

From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Chaudhry was based in New York and was the Managing Director of the International Client Solutions group. In this role, he was responsible for business development and account management for occupier and investment clients across EMEA, APAC and Latin America.

From 2001 till 2004, Arsh was the Director of the International Services Group based in San Fancisco, CA. While in San Francisco, Arsh was responsible for business development and account management of occupier and investor clients focused across Asia Pacific.

Mr. Chaudhry is a member of the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Singapore, the Board of Coronet Global's Singapore Chapter and Co Chair of the Property Committee for AMCHAM Singapore.

 
 

Todd Lauchlan

Todd Lauchlan is a seasoned real estate professional with over 17 years of experience, including more than 13 years working and living Internationally. Currently holding the position as the Country Head for Jones Lang LaSalle in Indonesia, he is responsible for the management and performance of the Indonesian office. He has been involved in many innovative property market initiatives throughout his career, with specialties in commercial leasing, residential sales and marketing, development advisory and investment sales. Todd often speaks about the real estate market at various industry seminars and events, he has also frequently been called upon to comment and write on the property market by top-tier media. He is also currently serves as the Head of Property Working Group for EuroCham Indonesia. He holds a post-graduate Diploma in Property Investment and Development from Lincoln University, New Zealand and a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Marketing from University of Canterbury.

Jovita "Joy" Polloso is the Senior Vice-President of Filinvest Land's Commercial Centers and Retail Management. She has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, managing the leasing businesses of top conglomerate real estate developers in the Philippines. Ms Polloso also has international retail management exposure with one of Singapore's largest estate developers.

Ms Polloso is a Cumlaude (honor's) graduate in Bachelor of Arts major in Political Science and a degree holder in Bachelor of Laws (LLB). She earned her post graduate degree with honor distinction as Silver Awardee for Masters in Business Administration and Regis Program, at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business, Philippines. Widijanto

Graduated from University of Texas, Arlington-USA in 1982, Widijanto is currently the Managing Director of AKR Land Development responsible for the overall performance of the property development of several mixed use complexes located in Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya, Bandung and Manado.
Widijanto spent his first five years working in the United States. His achievement among others are Oak Lawn Mixed Use Developments (Dallas) and Detroit Piston Stadium with its capacity of 20,000 seating (Michigan).
The projects achieved American Institute of Architect Awards (AIA Awards). Since returning to Indonesia in 1987, Widijanto has been actively involved in several prominent property developers such as Duta Anggada Realty, Salim Group, Mulia Group. Some of his creative Land Mark Properties are located in the golden triangle of Jakarta such as Bapindo Plaza, Pavilion Park, Bandung Indah Plaza (BIP), Great River Plaza and Wisma Mulia.

With his extensive more than 20 years' experience in Real Estate Industry focusing in property development & investment, commercial leasing, corporate strategy and business development, currently Mr. Chandra has been actively involved in designing the Sinar Mas Land's growth roadmap and leaded a number of Joint Venture & Strategic Partnership initiatives as a part of Sinar Mas Land's corporate strategic expansion. Ms. Shirley Tan Ling Ling is Chief Executive Officer for Rajawali Property Group.
Ms. Tan is responsible for determining the strategic direction and overseeing the overall business performance of the Group. Ms. Shirley Tan has more than 14 years of development experience in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas.
Ms Shirley Tan was previously the Senior Vice President responsible for spearheading a new phase of strategic growth, acquisitions, and rapid expansions for the Group from 2011 to 2013. Dato' Sri (Dr) Vincent Tiew, holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Project Management from Wisconsin International University and an Masters of Business Administration from University of Newcastle, Australia.

In Year 2010 he was conferred Doctor in Humanity, Social Service by Bethel Faith University and appointed Adjunct Professorship by Wisconsin International University, United States in Year 2011. In Year 2013, he was conferred Doctor of Business Administration by Victoria University, Switzerland.

He was bestowed the royal title of 'Dato Setia Diraja Kedah' by the The Royal Highness of Sultan Kedah Tuanku Abdul Halim Shah (present King of Malaysia, 14th King of Malaysia) in Year 2011 and the royal title Dato' Sri by Sultan of Pahang in Year 2013.

Presently the Managing Director of Andaman Group of Companies, he is a regular speaker in many platform for property shows/ conferences in Malaysia and abroad. Destry Damayanti is the Chief Economist at Bank Mandiri since May 2011. Prior join with Bank Mandiri, she spent around 5 years (2006 - 2011) as a Chief Economist in Mandiri Sekuritas, the subsidiary of Bank Mandiri which focuses on the capital market transaction. She started her carrier working as a lecturer and researcher in the Faculty Economic of University of Indonesia (FEUI) right after she was graduated her Bachelor degree in FEUI. After pursuing her master degree at Cornell University (1991-1992) she joint the Ministry of Finance and in charge for the Fiscal and Monetary Analysis (1992 - 1997). Her carrier in the financial sector was started in City Bank as an Economist (1997 - 2000), followed by a Senior Economist for the British Embassy in Indonesia (2000 - 2003). As a Chief Economist in Bank Mandiri she covered 4 areas i.e. Macro Economic, Financial Market, Industry analysis and Regional analysis.

In 1992 - 1997, she assumed responsibility in Agency for Financial and Monetary Analysis (BAKM), Ministry of Finance, before worked in Banking She joint the Researcher at Inter University Center for Economics, Faculty Economic, Researcher at The Institute for Management Universitas of Indonesia (FEUI), and Assistant Research at the Harvard Institute for International Development (HIID) in January - August 1989.

 
 

Thong Mun Wai

Mun Wai has been the Head of RAM Ratings' Real Estate and Construction Ratings Department since May 2012. Prior to this appointment, he had been a senior manager in the Consumer & Industrial Ratings Department, covering the oil & gas, shipping, gaming, manufacturing and consumer-product sectors. Apart from Malaysian corporates, he had been involved in the credit ratings of companies domiciled in South Korea, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka. Mun Wai had also been actively involved in RAM Ratings' Technical Committee and annual default studies. From October 2010 to December 2011, Mun Wai served as the chief rating officer of RAM Ratings (Lanka) Limited. He has been a member of its rating committee since March 2011. Mun Wai joined RAM Ratings in 2004, starting out as a research associate with the Infrastructure and Utilities Ratings Department. Before that, he had worked as an auditor with a big-four accounting firm. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance, from the University of Western Australia.

Based in BlackRock's Kuala Lumpur office, Patrick Liau is responsible for the management of BlackRock's Malaysian real estate operations as well as oversees the real estate asset and real estate investment management activities in Malaysia. As part of his role, Patrick manages The Intermark, a mixed used development with 2 office towers, a retail podium and a hotel on behalf of BlackRock Asia Property Fund II. Patrick has over a decade's experience in finance and investment in the property and construction sector. Sigrid has been with Cushman & Wakefield since May 2003 and prior to her move to Singapore, she was based in Washington, D.C. and led Cushman & Wakefield's U.S. research group in the Mid-Atlantic region, overseeing all aspects of market research activities in the Washington, DC; Virginia; Suburban Maryland, Baltimore; and Philadelphia areas. Michael Broomell is the Managing Director of Colliers International Indonesia, the largest international property consultancy in Indonesia. Mike relocated to Jakarta in 1992 to found and manage a new Indonesian property consultancy. The employees and business of that firm were combined with those of Colliers in 2004 when Mike assumed the management of Colliers' Indonesian operations.

Mike obtained his BBA from Southern Methodist University in 1977. Rick Santos is the Chairman, Founder, and Managing Partner of CB Richard Ellis Philippines. Mr. Santos set up the CB Richard Ellis operation in the Philippines-playing a major role in establishing the company as the leading real estate advisory firm in the country. (The CB Richard Ellis Group is the largest US listed Global Real Estate Services Corporation and a member of the Fortune 500.)

In addition to driving the company-s business lines forward, Rick also takes charge of the cross-border investment team focusing on the in-bound and out-bound movement of Institutional and Private Investment Capital. Mr. Santos and his team were the pioneers in the real estate/BPO industry and were also responsible for bringing many of the largest institutional and private real estate investors into the Philippines.

Veena Loh

Veena Loh is currently the General Manager of Malaysia Property Incorporated. She has both public and private sector experience, working as a Senior Analyst in stockbroking firms, an economics consultant to the National Economic Action Council, now merged with the Economic Planning Unit and as a Senior Fellow at Institute of Strategic and International Studies. MPI is a public-private initiative set up by the EPU to promote and facilitate foreign investment in Malaysian real estate. MPI raises Malaysia's profile internationally by constantly updating foreign investors on Malaysian real estate information and organising events overseas to brand Malaysian real estate.
She has presented in many international forums at Network of East Asian Think-Tanks, ASEAN+China forums, MPIM (HK), 2nd Annual Hospital Revenue Management in Bangkok and locally at Wealth Mastery and at the recent Shopping Malls & Retail Destination event with Marcus Evans.

Raj Kannan

Virginia Viray heads PJS Law's Tax group and its Real Estate practice. She is a member of the Philippine Bar, and is also a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed Real Estate Broker. She began her career as a Revenue Officer of the Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue, and served as Legislative Assistant to the Secretary of Finance, and as professor of Taxation Law at the Far Eastern University Institute of Law.
She is experienced in tax structuring for local and foreign investments, including advising on incentives under special laws. She serves as tax counsel of companies across various industries. She has likewise acted as lead counsel in significant local and cross-border real estate deals and M&A transactions, and has advised several investment banks and hedge funds in their acquisition of distressed assets from Philippine financial institutions.
