Chris Meyrick
Vice President, Human Resources, Asia Pacific

Chris Meyrick is the Vice President, Human Resources - Asia Pacific for American Express, a position he assumed in April 2013. Chris leads the HR function in developing talent strategies and solutions across 12 markets in Asia Pacific.

As a seasoned human resources practitioner, Chris has extensive experience in change management, designing and implementing effective human resources initiatives. He joined American Express in 2007 in Sydney as Director for World Services. In 2009 he relocated to New York as the VP HR Business Partner for Global Business Travel Operations. Subsequently, Chris oversaw the talent management for American Express OPEN, the company’s small business division in the United States.

Chris has held a variety of human resources and business roles in the banking and telecommunications industries prior to joining American Express. He is currently based in Hong Kong.

Kam W To

Kam has nearly 20 years of experience in human resources management and has been with Manulife for more than 10 years. His main responsibility is to oversee all human resources operations in Manulife Hong Kong, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, engagement, learning, talent management, organizational development and human resources system development. He is also in charge of developing people strategies and executing various corporate initiatives to help build Manulife as an Employer of Choice in Hong Kong.

Mark Sullivan

Mark Sullivan is the Global Vice President, Human Resources based in the DFS Global office in Hong Kong since 2009. Mark is a HR professional with international operational experience in implementation of HR strategies to align with organizational goals.

Mark joined DFS in 2000 as the General Manager in San Francisco. With DFS, he moved to San Francisco, California and Saipan within retail operations. He has been promoted as Human Recourses Director for Pacific region in 2007. Prior to joining DFS, Mark had 17 year career in retail industry, having worked as the General Manager at Nuance Watson Hong Kong and Marks & Spencer. He is a graduate of Goldsmiths College and the London School of Economics.

Iris Cheng

She also excels in staff communication and has contributed to employee engagement initiatives during the various business she had been involved in over the years. Prior to joining CBRE, she held senior HR positions in ING Insurance APAC and Reuters Australia.

David Mui

Leigh Stewart

Theresa Chong

Rob Jack

Rob is the Human Resources Executive covering Bank of America’s Global Technology and Operations (GT&O) Asia Pacific and the Head of HR Business Advisory for Asia Pacific. In this role he is responsible for managing the team of HR professions that partner with the regional leadership and management teams to establish and drive a people strategy and provide council on all human resource related matters. This role is focused on improving organizational performance through every aspect of people, including workforce planning, staffing and selection, learning and capability development, leadership effectiveness, talent and succession planning, and performance and compensation management.

Rob joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in July 2010 from Standard Chartered Bank, where he held a number of generalist HR roles included Regional Head of HR for Consumer Banking, North-East Asia, and the Global Head of HR for Technology. Prior to Standard Chartered, Rob spent more than six years as a Human Capital consultant for Deloitte Consulting, where he assisting a diverse array of client organizations in areas such as organizational design, performance and talent program development, IT system implementations, and the managing of significant organization change events.

Many of these were related to the banking, finance, professional services and IT industries. Pallavi relocated to Hong Kong in 2009 as Senior Division Director, whereby she developed the contract recruitment arm of Robert Half Hong Kong and led it to profitability.

Peter Leung

Peter is the Vice-Chairman of Personnel Managers Club in Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) and the Chairman of Organizing Committee of Hong Kong Institute of Human Resources (HKIHRM) Annual Conference 2014. Samuel Tsang
