Ron Thomas is the CEO of Great Place to Work-Gulf Region. He was formerly HR Officer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is a senior faculty member for the Human Capital Institute. He holds certifications as Master Human Capital Stratetist [MHCS], Global Human Capital Strategist [GHSC], Strategic Workforce Planner [SWP].
Prior roles included senior level roles with Xerox HR services, IBM and Martha Stewart Living. Board membership include the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, McKinsey Quarterly Executive Online Panel and HCI's Expert Advisory Council on Talent Management Strategy. He has received the Outstanding Leadership Award for Global HR Excellence at the World Human Resources Development Congress and has been named one of the 50 Most Talented Global HR Leaders in Asia.

My personal development break experiencing Scandinavia during 2007-2009 , was an eye opener to solid my identity as Emirati woman and opened my eyes on international practices, economics, politics and culture. Now that I have the courage to extend my knowledge in business and developing general management skills, I couldn’t find better than a role in commercial where organizations’ success usually driven from. I long to learn more on the job and may be mastering sales and marketing in the near future. In line with obtaining my Master in Global HR Management, I can’t but be tempted to look forward to my next master degree in International Business.
